What does POWOPO mean?
The acronym POWOPO was formed by combining the words Polymath Women Polymaths.
The concept of Polymath means a person with expertise and deep knowledge in more than one field. When it comes to Creativity & Production, this concept looks pretty impressive.
As a person can have a Polymath perspective by collecting more than one expertise, the Polymath view develops also in teams formed by different experts and surprise ideas & productions can be realized.
Kung Fu Panda & PO
When deciding on the name POWOPO, among those who inspired us with his creative success story and entertaining character is PO, the lead character of Kung Fu Panda, one of the blockbuster animations.
Wanting to learn a martial art that seems incompatible both physically and in terms of his experience & equipment, PO manages to become a student of the best Kung Fu Master of the time, simply by keeping his pure form and following his passion. With the help of this special education, he transforms into a legendary Kung Fu Hero .

Why We Founded POWOPO and How Do We Work?

We produce with the Maker Workshop approach and the Agile Management Model, and we pay extra importance to the individuality of team members with a unity of purpose.
We experience the richness and attractiveness of production arising from the union of different forces (brought by each team member) and we prefer this to the competition-oriented production model.

Above all, creativity emerges easily in an ecosystem that is open to different experiences where individual motivation in any subject is not hindered and protected. In this process, the value of different disciplines, expertise and personal experiences is incredibly valuable. In fact, in her book Neuroscience of Genius, Dr. Nancy C. Anreasen, who has published her research on the creativity processes in the human brain and is known as the 'Gifted Intelligent', speaks highly about Polymats as individuals with deep knowledge and experience in different fields, and states on the source of their extraordinary creativity, the rich knowledge they possess and emphasizes the richness of their experiences.

As Polymath Women Polymaths, we create a Creativity & Production Framework at the intersection of different disciplines, with individuals who have extensive knowledge and experience in one or more fields, and who go on a learning & production journey with their natural curiosity.

While creating this framework, together with a brain-based learning approach that references the working principles of the human brain, we make use of the fields of Science, Art, Nature, Culture, Ancient Knowledge, Technology with a focus on Creativity & Production.
At the same time, as the POWOPO team, we continue our research on Creativity & Production and Intelligence Types with the valuable contributions of professional volunteers.

In addition our academic research, as the professional practitioner of Design Thinking Methodology, which was designed by systematizing the Human-Centered Production philosophy at Stanford University, one of the best universities in the world, we aim to contribute in the center of human and nature, to individuals and communities who want to produce.
